Well,  I was planning on doing some diving today.... But for the last couple weeks I have been congested and diving while congested is a bad idea.  

Tuesday night when our dive club was doing the OW certification pool sessions I was like always helping the instructors keep an eye on the students..   being congested before getting in the pool,  I knew I would most likely spend the rest of my evening in pain.

So I went diving last weekend 4/5 - 4/6 over in Oronogo Missouri.    Just now getting around to blogging about it.

We managed to get 5 dives in over the weekend,  I left a little early on sunday and missed dive 6.      I was diving with a group of fellows i've never dove with before - which isn't un-common.   I am a bit of a dive whore,  I dive with whoever will allow me.    

So i'm not the most active blogger!  Sew me!        

Here in the last couple weeks,  I have been digging deeper, and deeper into the wonder that is the Google API.    One of my first projects?   A generic search engine in use on 9 websites currently.   Utilizing Google Custom Business Search as well as Yahoo Web Search ,  PHP 5 and  a few cuss words...  the product:   http://search.morningsun.net        

When we were in KC for Christmas,   Katharyne me and her brother Jon hit up Crown Center to do some ice skating.

If the weather keeps up the way it's going now,  it looks like my new years day dive might be a cold one!     Who  knows,    might have to break some ice to jump in.       

I am at a disadvantage compaired to the other divers that will most likely be there,   they will be diving dry suits.   Unfortunately  I am too poor to afford one of those!  A good dry suit runs around 1800$,  and has to be custom fitted to the diver.  

Over the weekend ( Dec 1,2 ) I got to do a little diving. Our winter dive class were doing their open water check out dives, and me being a "helper" of the club got to hang out and make sure no one wandered over the ledge. About 15 feet past the edge of the water there is a ledge where the depth changes from about 8 feet to 100ft. Which is quite a drop for students, so I tried my hardest to keep them away from it. Also around the same area is a vertical shaft leading down into the chamber called "four doors".
